After a conversation, when appropriate

Professional Estimating & Documentation

Some repairs need more than a quick visual assessment. When formal repair planning, insurance documentation, OEM research, or supporting repair information is needed, Peak Country explains the appropriate professional service first.

Professional work, not an estimate store

What is an insurance estimate or supplement?

An insurance repair estimate documents the visible damage and proposed repair operations known at the time it is written. A supplement documents legitimate repair requirements identified later through closer inspection, research, access, or disassembly that were not included in the earlier estimate.

The fee reflects professional inspection, technical research, repair planning, and documentation required to build a defensible repair plan—not merely the time spent looking at the damage.

Depending on the vehicle and repair, this may include detailed inspection, PDR lighting, damage analysis, repair planning, OEM research, manufacturer procedures or position statements, R&I research, professional repair-information resources, commercial estimating resources, photographs, supporting technical documentation, written estimate preparation, estimate review, and supplement preparation where appropriate.

Estimate-fee credit

Applied toward the repair when the documented plan is performed.

If Peak Country performs the repair according to the documented repair plan, the applicable estimating fee is credited in full toward the repair.

If the final authorized repair scope or repair method changes, the credit may be adjusted to reflect the repair actually performed.
