Peak Country Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Full Warranty Terms

Complete terms for qualifying paintless dent repair workmanship performed by Peak Country.

Our Workmanship Commitment

Peak Country Auto Hail Repair & Paintless Dent Repair stands behind the workmanship it performs.

Paintless dent repairs completed by Peak Country are covered by this Limited Lifetime Workmanship Warranty for as long as the original customer owns the repaired vehicle.

If a covered repair develops a problem that is determined to be the result of Peak Country’s workmanship, Peak Country will inspect the repair and correct the covered workmanship issue at no charge to the customer.

This warranty applies only to the specific repair work performed by Peak Country and is subject to the terms and exclusions below.

1. Warranty Period

This workmanship warranty begins on the date the covered repair is completed.

Coverage continues for as long as the original customer who authorized the repair owns the vehicle.

The warranty ends when ownership of the vehicle is sold, traded, donated, transferred, or otherwise changes from the original customer.

This warranty is non-transferable.

2. Covered Paintless Dent Repair Workmanship

This warranty applies to workmanship associated with paintless dent repair performed directly by Peak Country.

Covered workmanship may include, when applicable:

Coverage applies only when the concern is directly related to workmanship performed by Peak Country.

3. PDR Access, Leverage and Normal Access Conditions

Paintless dent repair commonly requires specialized tools to reach the backside of damaged panels.

Depending on the vehicle and location of the damage, access may involve:

The use of an appropriate access opening is a normal PDR technique when direct access is otherwise limited and the method is appropriate for the vehicle and repair.

PDR tools depend on controlled leverage and pressure. As a result, minor tool-contact marks or minor localized distortion may occur around concealed access points or openings during normal repair operations.

Minor access-related conditions are not considered a workmanship defect when they:

Any access opening created during the repair will be kept reasonably limited to what is necessary for the repair and treated appropriately after use.

This provision does not excuse excessive, unnecessary, or careless damage caused during the repair.

4. Corrosion Protection

Paintless dent repair and access procedures can disturb factory corrosion protection, coatings, seam protection, or expose bare metal in concealed areas of a vehicle.

When corrosion protection is affected by the repair, Peak Country will make reasonable, good-faith efforts to restore protection to accessible areas using professional products and application methods consistent with recognized OEM corrosion-protection and collision-repair practices.

Depending on the repair and vehicle construction, this may include the appropriate use of:

The specific materials and application method used will depend on the location of the repair, vehicle construction, accessibility, and the type of factory protection affected.

Where an access opening is created, Peak Country will take reasonable steps to protect exposed metal and finish the opening using an appropriate corrosion-protection method and plug or closure when applicable.

Vehicle panels frequently contain enclosed cavities, internal braces, reinforcements, and areas that cannot be completely accessed after assembly. These physical limitations may prevent corrosion-protection products from reaching every internal surface or reproducing the exact coverage applied during original vehicle manufacturing.

For that reason, Peak Country does not represent that corrosion protection performed during a PDR repair provides absolute or permanent protection against future corrosion.

Peak Country’s obligation is to use reasonable professional judgment and make a good-faith effort to protect accessible areas affected by the repair using appropriate materials and application methods.

Future corrosion is not considered a workmanship defect solely because corrosion protection could not completely reach an inaccessible internal surface.

This limitation does not excuse a failure to reasonably protect an accessible area when corrosion protection is appropriate as part of the repair.

5. Removal and Reinstallation Workmanship

When components must be removed and reinstalled to access a repair area, Peak Country warrants the workmanship involved in that removal and reinstallation.

This may include applicable:

The warranty applies to Peak Country’s removal, installation, and reassembly workmanship.

It does not create a lifetime warranty on the component itself.

6. Parts, Clips, Adhesives and Components

Replacement parts and materials may be necessary during some repairs.

These may include:

These items are not covered as parts by Peak Country’s lifetime workmanship warranty.

Any warranty applicable to a replacement component may instead be provided by the manufacturer, supplier, or distributor of that component.

Peak Country’s workmanship associated with installing an applicable replacement component remains subject to this warranty.

7. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, failure, or changes unrelated to Peak Country’s workmanship.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

8. Paint and Pre-Existing Repair Conditions

Paintless dent repair is intended to preserve the vehicle’s existing finish whenever reasonably possible.

Peak Country cannot provide a lifetime warranty on:

Previously repaired or refinished areas may react differently during PDR than undamaged original factory materials.

When Peak Country identifies a condition that may materially affect the repair, the customer will be informed when reasonably practical.

9. Subsequent Damage to a Previously Repaired Area

A panel previously repaired by Peak Country may later sustain new damage.

New damage does not automatically indicate failure of the original repair and is not covered by this warranty.

If there is uncertainty about whether a condition is related to Peak Country’s original workmanship or subsequent damage, Peak Country will inspect the vehicle and evaluate the concern.

10. Reporting a Warranty Concern

A customer who discovers a condition believed to be related to Peak Country’s workmanship must notify Peak Country within 30 calendar days after discovering the condition, or within 30 calendar days after the condition reasonably should have been discovered.

The purpose of this requirement is to provide Peak Country a reasonable opportunity to inspect the condition before it changes, deteriorates, is altered, or becomes difficult to evaluate.

Failure to provide timely notice may affect warranty coverage when the delay materially interferes with Peak Country’s ability to determine the cause of the condition or reasonably correct the covered workmanship issue.

Applicable law may provide additional rights that are not limited by this provision.

11. Warranty Inspection

Customers requesting warranty consideration should provide reasonable information about the concern.

Peak Country may request:

A physical inspection may be required before warranty coverage can be determined.

There is no charge for Peak Country’s inspection of a legitimate warranty concern related to its workmanship.

12. Warranty Correction

If Peak Country determines that a concern is covered by this warranty, Peak Country will correct the covered workmanship issue at no charge to the customer.

Peak Country will determine the reasonable repair method necessary to correct the covered workmanship concern.

Warranty coverage is limited to correcting the covered Peak Country workmanship.

13. Opportunity to Inspect and Correct

Before another repair facility, technician, or third party performs work intended to correct an alleged Peak Country workmanship issue, the customer must provide Peak Country a reasonable opportunity to inspect the concern and, if covered, correct it.

If another party alters, repairs, refinishes, disassembles, or modifies the affected area before Peak Country has a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, Peak Country may be unable to determine the cause of the condition.

Interference with Peak Country’s ability to inspect or determine the cause may limit or prevent warranty coverage for that concern.

Emergency action reasonably necessary to protect the vehicle or prevent additional damage is not prohibited by this provision.

14. Customer Responsibilities

To obtain warranty consideration, the customer should:

15. Consequential and Incidental Costs

This warranty provides for the inspection and correction of covered Peak Country workmanship.

Because Peak Country primarily performs cosmetic vehicle repairs, this workmanship warranty does not include reimbursement or payment for incidental, indirect, or consequential expenses associated with a warranty concern.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

Peak Country’s obligation under this warranty is limited to inspection and correction of the covered workmanship issue itself, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

16. Insurance Repairs

This workmanship warranty applies to qualifying repairs regardless of whether the customer paid directly or the repair was associated with an insurance claim.

Insurance involvement does not expand or reduce Peak Country’s workmanship obligations under this warranty.

Insurance coverage decisions, policy benefits, claim approvals, deductibles, insurer payments, and other insurance matters are separate from Peak Country’s workmanship warranty and are governed by the applicable insurance policy and insurer.

17. Scope of Warranty

This warranty applies only to workmanship performed by Peak Country.

It does not represent a warranty from:

Nothing in this warranty should be interpreted as representing Peak Country as affiliated with or endorsed by a vehicle manufacturer or insurance company unless such an affiliation is separately documented.

18. Warranty Records

Peak Country may retain:

Customers are encouraged to retain their final invoice and repair documentation.

Reasonable proof of the original covered repair may be required when requesting warranty service.
