Preparing for a hail claim

Learn how Peak Country evaluates and documents insurance-related repairs while coverage, reimbursement, and deductibles remain subject to the customer’s policy.

What should you do before starting a hail claim?

Document what you can safely see, note the storm date and vehicle location, and ask your insurer which reporting and inspection steps apply to your policy. A nearby weather report can add context but does not prove that a specific vehicle was damaged.

What is an insurance repair estimate?

An insurance estimate records visible damage and proposed repair operations known when it is written. It can be a useful starting point, but a closer inspection, technical research, access, or disassembly may identify legitimate repair needs that were not included initially.

What is a supplement?

A supplement documents repair requirements identified after an earlier estimate. It may address additional damage, required removal and installation operations, repair-method changes, OEM information, or other supported needs. Coverage and payment decisions remain subject to the policy and insurer.

Keep the repair and deductible decisions clear

Before authorizing work, clarify the proposed method, included panels, documentation, known limitations, and expected customer responsibility. Peak Country does not advertise deductible rebates, cash back, or deductible-saving offers.
